Spare Tire Mount Wing Nut Reproduction for the 1968 through 1973 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not. We also stock and carry the correct disc or hold down plate, and the J bolt. Lots of sizes and lengths for those. Do you have the correct one?

Used and reusable backup lamp socket and wiring assembly for the reproduction reverse light chrome housings or to replace a damaged lead in your original 1969-70 Mercury Cougar reverse light. This light socket assembly uses the 1156 bulb. NOTE: These sockets are crimped from the factory and are difficult to remove. When re-installing, there won't be much "meat" left to flare out inside the bezel and you may run into issues with getting a good ground.

This black wire attaches to the fusible link coming off the starter solenoid on one end then passes through the firewall to mate with the top switch wiring at the other end. Correct for both XR7, Standard convertibles and power sunroof equipped Cougars.

Preproduction wiring harness, connects the convertible top switch to the pump on both the xr7 and standard model Cougars and Mustang 1969 - 1973 convertibles.

This harness connects the convertible top motor to the under dash convertible top harness under the dash. Fits 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and 1969-70 Ford Mustang. This wire rests in the trough under the passenger side sill plate and goes behind the back seat where the convertible top pump is located.Ford part number C9ZB-15A668-B.

This harness connects the convertible top switch to the pump on both the xr7 and standard 1969 - 1973 convertibles.

This black wire attaches to the fusible link. The Fusible link connects to the starter solenoid with an eyelet connector, then connects to this wire with a billet connector. This wire then passes through the firewall to mate with the power top switch wiring under the dash. Used wiring harness assembly specific to 1969 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with H code 351W-2V or M code 351W-4V engines. Jumper harness about 9-1/2 inches long. Goes between the cowl plug for the engine gauge feed harness, and the engine gauge feed harness. Special with a 2 ohm resistance wire for the temperature gauge / sending unit. This black wire attaches to the Circuit Breaker coming off the starter solenoid on one end then passes through the firewall to mate with the top switch wiring harness at the other end. We believe that some 1969 harnesses may have used a fusible link wiring harness in place of this one. This harness and the circuit breaker can be used on those applications.Ford part number C9ZB-15A669-B or C9ZZ-15A669-B.

Used wire harness for the 69 - 70 STANDARD Cougar. This main harness connects to the harness for the convenience lights on the warning light panel in the center of the dash. Used in conjunction with the two convenience light harnesses / sockets found here. The convenience package was offered on Cougars that were non-XR7.

1969-70 Mercury Cougar XR7 wiring harness for the courtesy switch panel in the center of the dash. This is the wiring harness for the switch panel bezels labeled MAP COURTESY PANEL ACCY.
