1969 Mercury Cougar

Used heater blower motor for 69 - 70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. The reproduction off-shore motors may or may not prove to be as good of value as these good used original FoMoCo motors. To date, all we can find for these cars are foreign made units. Keep in mind our used motors carry a one year warranty and the new motors have a 30 day warranty. C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

Used mounting bracket from a 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with factory installed air conditioning. This is the tab that is riveted to the blower housing, the stud goes through the firewall. For any year 1967 1968 1969 1970 Mercury Cougar with an FE 390, 427, or 428CJ engine. Identified by the round dimple stamped into it. Compare the OEM used part price to the reproduction part. For restoration purposes, this bracket was factory painted satin black.

This is a decent reproduction of the radio bracket for the 69 or 70. Take a look at the smaller image to see them side by side. The repro is slightly taller and has extra holes in it so it fits other applications. We recommend sticking with good originals.  Why deviate from 100% correct if you don't need to.

Used Bracket for mounting the Servo and accelerator Shaft on any 1969 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with speed control. The whole assembly mounts to the firewall inside the passenger cabin. The Servo is the rubber bellows. We think the the Ford part number was C9ZZ-9C787-A. Ford part number 9C787.

Reproduction power steering hose retaining bracket and retainer. This is the bracket needed if you are routing the PS lines under the lower control arm instead of over as found on the 67 - 68 small block. When we say the "vintage casting look", we mean with the proper groove and contours. Reproductions are fine, but do not retain the casting design of the original casting company.
