We suggest using white lithium grease or petroleum jelly to ensure the seal will not stick to the shift lever. Fits 1969-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, additionally it also fits 1971+ Maverick and Comet with floor shift automatic only.  If you have any side-to-side play in the shifter, this seal will not last. Unlike our un-restored used door glass trim and are sold in pairs only. If you are doing a concours correct restoration then these would not be for you as they have been "over restored" to a mirror like finish. The down fall of having such a mirror like finish is they get finger prints on them every time you touch them. The good part is they look HOT! These are good reproductions of the originals for your American Sunroof Corporation Golde Sun Roof. The roof opening seal is 89 1/4" x 3/4" and the seal that affixes to the rear edge of the roof panel measures 42 1/2" x 3/4".
