Companion reproduction insulation for our premium 1969-70 Mercury Cougar sail panels. These were created by a Cougar enthusiast for Cougar enthusiasts. Copied from an original 1969 Cougar Eliminator. Sold in pairs, originally held up with a bit of spray adhesive glue. Same thickness heavy felt as originals.

Original scissors jack. We save the working ones that come to our yard. Hinge points should get little oil or a quick spray of WD-40. Wipe down the residual grease and oil and stow it in the trunk again! Notice the correct placement of the instruction decal. Sold individually, original glove box cable screw with shoulder. For any 1967-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Probably many other Ford and Mercury cars also.Ford part number 379202-S2.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

Set of 11 screws for fastening the taillight bezel to the taillight housing on the 69 - 70 Cougar. This set is enough to do one bezel.If you bought the reproduction 69 or 70 taillight bezels, remember that they don't come with screws.Earlier year taillight bezels used mounting studs, but the 69 - 70 bezels screwed in from the housing to the bezel. This is a common panhead screw that can be found at your local hardware store brand new.

If your power steering control valve unit is in good working condition but seems to be leaking, this seal kit may be all it takes to correct the problem. Keep in mind many of the high mile control valves in circulation are worn beyond factory tolerances and are not easily rebuilt. This dealer option was installed for people who were not comfortable with the height of their seats. This same kit was used on many intermediate Ford Products from 1965-1970. Used driver side outer bucket seat black hinge cover, for any 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is for only a single hinge cover in used condition. Most will have minor scuffs or imperfections. These do not accept paint very well. The factory change the end that goes under the upholstery in 1970. Limited to supply on hand. The Cougar used a seat riser that was about one inch lower in height compared to the Mustang so as to compensate for the more plush foam and upholstery.

This 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390 / 428CJ's were being dropped in. Attractive reproduction of a very popular, over the counter Mercury dress-up accessory. The only Cougars that came from the factory with this real wood shifter were the 1970 Eliminator and 1968 XR7G. Mercury Cougar shift handles never came covered in real leather from the factory but what a cool upgrade! We sell a lot of these and the feedback has been great. We also carry the original plastic covered (simulated leather) reproduction XR7 shift handles in several colors but this real leather handle comes in black only.

This rod is unique to 1970 because it was the first year of the lock out rod. Very hard to come by when you consider there was no 390 option for 1970. Notice this rod features two different part numbers. Adjustable rod that connects the floor shifter to the big block C-6 automatic transmissions. C6 transmissions only, code "U" on your door data plate tag. 428 Cobra Jet engines were the only Cougar engines to receive the C-6 automatic transmission. Used Hurst built 4 speed manual shift control assembly for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with the manual transmission. This assembly includes the shifter mechanism, shift rods, and shift lever. The Ford MPC states that this same shifter was used on all V8 Mustangs and Cougars. Used automatic shifter bezel / indicator assembly for all Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with or without consoles. These are the best used ones from our inventory. D0ZZ-7210-B Chromed "Hurst" labeled shifter for all 1970 - 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with factory installed 4 speed transmissions. Tough part to find loose, most will be attached to the correct vintage Hurst Competition shifter mechanism. The 1970 Ford master part number is D0ZZ-7210-B, 1971 is D1ZZ-7210-A.
