You may consider buying our grade "B" door over our grade "A" door if you are doing a high end restoration. Here is the reasoning; due to the design of the 69-70 door, silt is trapped in all of the door corners, these tight recesses always have silt collected in them and when you add moisture you get corrosion. Our grade "A" doors do not have noticeable blisters but since there is no paint or sound deadener in the depths of the corners we know there is some amount of corrosion taking place...

These weigh .50 pounds each, exactly as the originals do. Just like the originals, these are very prone to scratches and dents, even letting your seat belt fall will mark them up. These are the same left to right, convertible or coupe. These appear to be made from the same thickness of aluminum as original and weigh .44 pounds as opposed to .50 for the originals but the aluminum used is not nearly the quality of originals. You can literally mutilate these parts with your fingers as you would an aluminum can. We recommend the premium quality sills. Ford never made these in stainless but what a great upgrade! The advantage we see with these is that they do not dent or scratch as easy when you release your seat belt. The repro version of this grille is very good, so the only reason you would buy used is if you want a certain color (reproductions only come in black) or if you only needed one side.

Very nice reproduction, silver zinc finish like original. Correct texture and even an original type date stamped on the head. Comes complete with striker plate, shim, and screws. The only difference between the 67 Cougar and the 68 - 70 is that the 67 came with the 8-66 date stamp, the rest came with the 11-67 date stamp. Front guide that measures 10 5/8" long held in place by four screws. The driver side has no markings but the passenger side is stamped with an R and the inner 2 screw holes are in a different place than the passenger.

Reproduction power steering drop bracket for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. One must use this part when installing headers with power steering.  Because of the way this bracket hangs down, it will get bumped and bumped hard in time. Becasue of this we recommend considerning our premuim version of this bracket, as it is substantially stronger.

Installation of this bracket is easy but you will have to make a spacer to fit on the outside of the frame rail. Hopefully you bought this bracket first before you tore out the nut inserts in the frame. If not you will need to get them up for now. Then tap the bracket toward the the outside of the car and make sure the cross bolt lines up. Then measure the gap and make a spacer to fit. A half inch nut and a couple of washers usually work just fine. It's not necessary to get fancy with this...
