This is the factory Ford remote trunk latch as used on luxury cars such as Thunderbird or Lincoln. As you can see from the photo, they are made (and install) exactly like our Cougar trunk latches, but with the addition of a release tab. These can be installed to use either a cable, vacuum, or solenoid release.

Used Carter fuel pump lever. From Carter made fuel pump as installed on Ford 352, 390, 410, 427, 428CJ FE engines. Many of the Carter "X" fuel pumps with screw together rebuildable pumps often times have Ford small block levers. Housings are he same. Reproduction locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column.
