These floor mats were available as part of the factory "protection package" or as a dealer accessory when these cars were new. Good used originals have gotten VERY hard to find. Reproduction floor pan firewall extension for the driver side (left hand) of your 67 - 68 Cougar.

These correct floor pan patches are for the 1969-70 convertible and do not have drain plugs like the 1967-68 panels. These are made from a really rigid steel and do not easily bend or dent easily like many of the offshore pans you find on the market. These 20 gauge panels are 24" long and 15 1/4" wide. New part with a course threaded stud, also called a pinion bumper. The correct casting number is seen on this rubber axle bumper is C9OA-4906-A, this version has course threads. This is the front bracket that holds in the rear seat and was used on both coupes and convertibles. We cut out a section of the floor under the rear seat as shown. Original part removed from an Eliminator parts car many years ago. The frame is the same as the 69-70 common fuel door with 2 extra holes drilled, the cat emblem is the same as what is found on a 1970 Standard / Eliminator Cougar center grille. On the units that have a faded background foil, we gently remove the emblem and replace the black foil with a reproduction. Keep in mind we do not retake pictures each time we get a different unit in stock (which is seldom).This will work on any 69-70...
