If your original is pitted or has come apart this will be a clean, crack free used replacement that will easily snap in place. We have a reproduction, but the finish is rougher, as shown in the comparison photo. There were originally two versions of this switch: the one shown with both round contact points in plastic, and another which had one in metal.

This carries a 1967 part number but is in fact a 1968 door as evidenced by the wide pull knob. The 69-73 looks the same as the earlier version once installed but the casting number will read C3AA-4906-C on the early unit and C9OA-4906-A on the 1969-73 version. We have found a few rubber bumpers marked D3Z... very few. See other listing for that one..

Sold individually, original glove box cable screw with shoulder. For any 1967-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Probably many other Ford and Mercury cars also.Ford part number 379202-S2.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

Used in the latter part of 1967 and all of 1968 and 1969 to fasten the upper column cover to the column. Early 1967 used a chrome version of this screw.

Set of 11 screws for fastening the taillight bezel to the taillight housing on the 69 - 70 Cougar. This set is enough to do one bezel.If you bought the reproduction 69 or 70 taillight bezels, remember that they don't come with screws.Earlier year taillight bezels used mounting studs, but the 69 - 70 bezels screwed in from the housing to the bezel. This is a common panhead screw that can be found at your local hardware store brand new.

Replacement seal with boot for all 1969-73 FMX and 1967-73 C6 transmissions. Tail shaft and slip yoke seal.

Driver side seat back release assembly, can me used for a conversion of 1970 high-backed seat backs for use in 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator and Ford Mustang Mach 1. This assembly has the release lever mounted nearly at shoulder level, factory 1970 high backs have the latch release at the hinge. Now you can replace this original part, which is commonly stripped out, with a nice reproduction. Must be welded to floor pan. 6 total per car, 2 inboard in the transmission tunnel, and 4 on the rear seat pans. Both deluxe and standard use the same retractor in 1968 - 1969 and left is the same design as right. Grade "A" retractors will show no fading or cracks on the holster / retractor cover, good chrome buckle and may even still have the date code tag sewn in place. For no extra charge we will attempt to locate the correct date code for your car if you provide your cars build date. Keep in mind no retractor was used in convertibles until 1972, only a lap belt. This is a 100% complete, functional set taken from multiple 1967 Mercury Cougars. Often it takes 2-3 cars to put together one set, decent driver quality set as the driver side will often show excessive wear and other belts can be rusted or missing.
