This emblem was used on the driver side of the 1971 - 1972 Cougar hood and on the passenger side of the trunk lid in 1967 - 1968. Reproduction 6.5 litre (390) fender emblem for the Mercury Cougar. These were used on all XR7G models with an S or X code 390, on other Cougars they were used with the Cougars that came equipped with a 390, but without the GT option package. Unlike the originals these do not have mounting studs, but are firmly held in place with 3M VHT double sided emblem tape.

Good used plastic emblem with no peeling chrome. This was used on all models except XR7 on the right side. We also have the metal version of this emblem available.

Grade "A" pit free original metal emblem for your Eliminator or Standard model Cougar. If you look closely at our picture you will in fact see tiny imperfections in the chrome. We rarely ever get flawless examples of this particular emblem as the original plating was substandard (in our opinion). This emblem was used on the standard, decor and Eliminator models.

This is the aluminum emblem which mounts on the center of all scuff plates. Features raised script surrounded by "Product Of Ford" like original, adhesive backed and protective coating. Decent reproduction of the 69-70 Cougar fender extension COUGAR script. This emblem was used for 2 years only and was located on the driver side front fender extension (fender cap). The originals came with speed nuts but these have push on clips from the back which means they are easier to install as no tools are needed. New Old Stock "G" and "T" 1967 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang individual fender letters. There were two ways that the cars were called out as GT's. Two individual letters and a single box with "GT" inside. These letters were also used on 1970-71 Mercury Cyclone. Both letters sold together. Ford part number C7ZZ-16098-A and C7ZZ-16098-B.

Found on the lower right corner of all 1971 - 1973 Cougars equipped with the XR7 Interior package. Both mounting studs will be in place and it will have a nice overall finish. Ford engineering number as seen on the backside is D1WB-65061A58-AA.

Reproduction center grille emblem background.
